la casa de esperanza
la casa de esperanza
At Casa Esperanza we currently have 5 moms, 16 kids, 2 missionaries, one kinder-teacher, and 3 more staff people, bringing us to a total of 27.
Multiply that by the number of times we eat during the day, along with all the wash that has to get done, and all the chores that have to get done, and what we have is a small army - God’s army.
Just miles from us is the world famous ‘La Bufadora’, one of a very few underwater geysers in the world.
We are also right next door to ‘Aguas Caliente’, where you can dig your very own hot mineral water pool right on the beach.
Our kids range from ages 5 months to 11 years old, with the majority of our kids being under the age of five.
Casa Esperanza provides clothing, food, shelter, and everything else a normal family would require.
By the grace of God some of our moms are able to secure employment and ‘ease’ the need to provide diapers for so many kids!
As a co-director it is so amazing to see the Lord ‘knit’ us together truly as one big family, and like any family we are sometimes going to have our differences, but the Lord always seems to smooth things out.
We would like to thank all who have assisted the Casa for so many years, and also those who have recently decided to partner with us to improve the quality of life here for our big family.
Please continue to pray for us - Samuel & Yasmin our co-directors, Gaby (missionary) who is making tremendous spiritual strides with our moms and kids, and Rosa-Blanca our on-site kinder-teacher, along with our devoted staff: Lulu, our nursery director; Jessica, director of Casa chores and wash; Dennis & Sergio, overseers of construction and maintenance.
Please pray that the Lord would give each and every one of us wisdom and insight to accomplish what the Lord has purposed in this place.
This is God’s ministry, and we all consider it a blessing and honor to serve Him here at the Casa.
Shalom

Welcome to our Home DIRECTIONS
As you head to the Casa you will drive thru Ensenada and pass the huge flag located by the ‘3 cabezas’ downtown, the beaches, heading south to Maneadero, past the Wal-Mart & Costco centers, till after a few miles you find yourself at the ‘Y’ (see map below - dark and light yellow roads) with a sign that says, road to the Bufadora, right next to our favorite grocery store, Calimax.
Just follow the light-yellow brick road to ‘La Bufadora’ where you will finally run into an Oxxo convenience store and Pemex gas station.
From there you just head straight down south off the main road onto a dirt road (photo below) and just aim for the heart (see map).
Welcome to the Casa!
